Tangled Bank --# 86 is at Fish Feet, dated 8/14.

Carnival of Principled Government --The August 5th edition (#11) is at Question the Culture.

Carnival of Children's Literature --July's edition is at Saints and Spinners.

Country Fair --look for it the 3rd Monday of each month. The 8th is now open. From the blog: "The 9th Country Fair is Coming! But it will be coming in September. Look for updates here soon. (Seems August is everyone's vacation month, including mine). You have an extra month to submit an entry. Septermber's Theme will be "Not Back To School" "

Festival of Trees --the current one is Lucky 13. The August carnival is published at Via Negativa: In Katydid Time.

Garden Fest --the current edition was posted July 19th.

Learning in the Great Outdoors --The 5th carnival, for August, just came out at The Miss Rumphius Effect.

Unschooling Voices --#10 was supposed to be out earlier, but I don't see it yet, and it's monthly. Update: The July edition is still not up (7/7). There has been some sad news for the host family, and I don't know when the carnival will be published.

These are all listed in my sidebar with links to either the carnival owner's site or the site that lists the past, current and future editions.

I don't know if I am doing this right, but I signed up to host my first carnival. Here is the page with the information from my site.

Hope I get some entries and hope I am doing it correctly.

Thanks for sharing the other carnival opportunities.

Sounds like an interesting topic--let me know when it's published. Her topic is "On the Way to School."
