Thomas's Living Earth School Camp Experience

Thomas finally got to experience Living Earth School for himself. Emily has been twice now, for the homeschool nature studies program, which happens once a week for 10 weeks in the spring. We weren't going to sign him up for the summer day camp, but at the last minute decided to see if there were any spots left, and there was just one! I think this was his first class/camp experience by himself. All the others have been with Emily, too.

This is one of the somewhat permanent tents at Sugar Hollow, the Girl Scout Campground that LES uses for summer camps.

A view of several of the structures.

This was the group of kids on the morning of the pickup. They'd spent the night on Thursday and had a nice campfire, told stories and more.

Kate is always smiling, so you can see why the kids all love her. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of her husband, Hub, or any of the counselors.
